I wrote this poem for a long time friend who recently got engaged (on 14th July, which incidentally just happens to be my wedding anniversary).  Never doing anything by half, my friend proposed when flying his soon to be fiancé high above the earth.  He handed her the flight itinerary, where he had written in the margin “check the glove box.”  How romantic is that!  This poem is therefore dedicated to them both 💞

Heart filling with love
Gestures with a ring of gold
Fly high forever
